Cancer Remedies - Researched and traditional remedies for cancer

Alternative Cancer Therapies

I am putting those articles particularly focussed on the physical body here under the Alternative Cancer Therapies heading. These include factors such as the issue of toxins in the environment, the matter of diet and certain minerals that are essential to good health but which are often deficient either due to our lifestyle but also due to the medical profession which has set the recommended daily levels from old data and not updated them as knowledge has changed.

Below are selected articles:

  • Toxin Reduction
Alternative cancer remedies seek to mprove your immune system by giving it less work to do. Our immune systems do more than just deal with antigens. It is the immune systems job to rid our bodies of all the toxins we eat, breathe in or absorb through our skins
  • Nutrition and Cancer
It has taken a long time for medicine to recognize the importance of what we eat in relation to cancer although it has always been known by practitioners who use alternative cancer therapies. Research is focusing around vegetables and fruit and the results are excellent or promising depending on the type of studies you require for proof.
  • Do I Have to Turn Vegetarian?
The big question out there in the alternative cancer therapy dietary advice regards the place of meat in the diet. I have done many searches and found a great many sites and advisors who insist that vegetarianism is the way to go. However I have not discovered sufficient justification to persuade me that it is useful.
  • Sugar and White Flour
All the non-government, non-official sources of dietary advice agree that sugar is a very real problem and should be avoided. I’ll cover some of the rationale for why this should be the case and then deal with the problems it may cause.
  • Selenium
Selenium is one of the minerals that is essential to health and it is a problem for those of us around the world who have soils that are deficient in this important element. Selenium acts as an antioxidant and helps to protect the body from free radicals that damage the cells.
